Does Abdullah Ahmad Badawi think the Agong is Stupid?

During the UMNO General Assembly, Puteri UMNO chief Noraini Ahmad threatened the Sedition Act, Internal Security Act, Officials Secret Act and god knows what other bloody act on bloggers who have insulted the King and Islam.
Can we apply these acts to our Prime Minister, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, for insulting the King’s intelligence?

In today’s government-owned media coverage (no more calling them mainstream media, says Susan Loone), I think everyone would have heard the PM’s message loud and clear: “Opposition trying to drag King into politics, says Pak Lah

The Prime Minister said the illegal gathering of thousands of people that ended with a memorandum being handed over to an Istana Negara official was an attempt by the opposition to “trap” the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
“I believe the King is more mature. The royalty understands and will not be trapped by their (the opposition’s) politics,” he said after opening the Parti Bersatu Sabah 22nd congress yesterday.

Is the PM so patronizing to our King that he cannot rely on His Majesty’s wisdom to make his own decisions?
Did he forget that the memorandum was submitted and received by the palace? If the King thought that he was going to be trapped, then he wouldn’t have received the memorandum in the first place.
The fact that the memorandum was successfully submitted means that at the very least, the King has decided to consider the rakyat’s demands for a free and fair election.
The King is doing what our country’s ruling parties dare not do: Listen to the dissenting voices of the people. To say that the opposition is trying to trap the King is to undermine the King’s decision-making and is an insult to the King’s intelligence.

So tell me, should our PM be charged for insulting the King?

Is like Pak Lah seized the mic of the sultan & become his spokeperson without his (agong’s) consent. That is more biadap.
