Top 5 Darndest Things Said In November 2007
November 30, 2007
Malaysians Say The Darndest Things presents to you, for the first time ever (since this blog is only 1 month’s old), the Top 5 Darndest Moments in November 2007!
#1. Morons of Parliament: Demolish Christian Statues, Destroy the Crosses
The MPs from Sri Gading and Parit Sulong have issues against mission schools across the country.
#2. Nazri Interview with NST: M****r*****r you!
Nazri swears in an interview to make a point, showing the world who the true ‘penyangak’ is.
#3. Now you are sitting in a wheel chair. God has punished you.
MP from Jerai tells Karpal Singh that he’s in a wheelchair because of God’s punishment.
Aftermath: Badruddin apologizes to disabled people 2 days later, and apologized to Karpal in Parliament one week later. Karpal was not in Parliament when the apology was offered.
#4. Parliament: Sothinathan Challenges DAP Lady to A ‘Fight’
MIC Minister S. Sothinathan challenges DAP’s Fong Po Kuan to a fight in Parliament.
Aftermath: Sothinathan clarifies that he meant a fight in the elections. Nozula Mat Diah of BN actually took action when he kicked Mohd. Zaki Ibrahim in the Kelantan State Assembly. Penyangak!
#5. Hishammuddin Explains the Keris At UMNO General Assembly 2007
Hishammuddin says that everyone will become de-sensitized to the keris, still not getting that no matter how much spin you try to put on it, we all saw what you did in 2006.
Aftermath: Ong Ka Ting, President of the party (MCA) that made such a big fuss about it last year has accepted Hishammuddin’s explanation. I guess he became de-sensitized quite quickly.
I’m trying new things on this blog, and this monthly digest is one of those. Please let me know in the comments whether you like it or not.

Your blog is currently my favourite go-to political blog. For some reason or another I really like it.

slowcatchupkuan,
Yes, the book is by Amir Muhammad called Malaysian Politicians Say The Darndest Things. The thing is I named this blog the same with nearly the same name because I remembered watching Bill Cosby in his show, “Kids say the darndest things” and 2 weeks after launching this blog, my good friend tells me about the book.
Haha, sounds a bit like I plagiarized the book name, but I guess I’ll just stick with the name
constant drama,
Thanks for your support
One of the goals I have for this blog is to highlight some of the things not mentioned by the government-owned media, so that we can bring it out for discussion in the blogosphere. I’m glad you like this blog.

Haha! I’ve read the book. Very interesting and have some wise sayings too. I bet Fong Po Kuan will win the ‘fight’ because ladies are very good in verbal fighting!
