A Politician’s Life Is Tough

A politician’s life is certainly tough. They have to face the threat of assassination, and mixed among others, the threat of the private lives suddenly becoming public. And they have to serve their constituencies, and they are only compensated with a meager wage. Unless of course you’re a Singapore Minister (PM Lee gets a cool SGD3.1 million a year). Or if you’re a BN politician, then you’ve probably got a chance to use your network to further your business interests (I’m generalizing here, I know).

If you’re an opposition politician, you have to face additional threats of the financial might of the BN, and also the weight of the biased government-owned media bearing down on you.
How is life like as an opposition politician? Today, let’s take a quick glimpse into the life of a DAP MP, Teresa Kok from Seputeh.
Read the following blog entry by her, and you might get a glimpse into how DAP politicians need to fight against the false promises and lies of MCA, and how hard it is to serve your voters.

Being an opposition politician, certainly not an enviable job. Lazier people would join BN.

The first paragraph had me laughing out loud, funny shit man.

As for Ms.Kok, respect to her for doing what she does. That’s no easy task. I do however would like to point out that Ms.Kok- while please dont forget that I am appreciating and respecting her hard work- is in serious need of a makeoever.

Just a suggestion, buts some cat-eyes glasses, a bob cut with fringe and lets tone the the jewelery shall we? The only thing I’m agreeing with is the red lipstick. Can never go wrong with red lipstick.

    Still appreciating your hardwork,
