12th General Elections: Check Where To Vote

If you already registered to vote but you’re unsure of where exactly you have to go, head on to the Elections Commissions website.

Two links are available: http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/daftar.asp and http://202.190.126.62/

It’s important to check earlier, so that you can make travel plans. There are cases where people have no idea where their polling place is, so check early, don’t make a mistake. There was one or two elections where my dad was assigned to some screwed up polling place, so he didn’t get to vote (cuz he had no idea where to go), so check for your whole family as well.

Let me know if you encounter any problems, I’m interested to know (actually I am just kepoh).

Okay so apparently my Parliment is the Kapar parliment. In my shallow and ignorance existance, I honestly dunno what that means other then I dont actually have to travel to Kapar to vote. As I thought earlier, if you rmbred.

Yeah, it’s a little bit screwy. For example, those staying in USJ/Subang get to vote under the Kelana Jaya parliamentary seat, those in Serdang get to vote in the Subang seat.
