Show Me The Finger. Nail Polish A No-No.

If you’re planning to get your nails done just before the 12th General Elections, it would be wise for you to shelf that plan until you’ve cast your vote.

This is because indelible ink will make its debut in the upcoming elections. This ink will be applied to the left forefinger of each voter, and this is to supposedly prevent voters from voting twice.

Don’t worry, the election officials will not be painting your nail for you, instead, a single straight line will be marked on your nail. Therefore, voters have been told to remove their nail polish on election day, or risk having it stripped off by election officials.

I don’t know if their going to use the normal brand of nail polish remover, so to save yourself this doubt, clean your nails before you go. Also, as a form of public service, I urge ladies out there who are going to vote to bring a bottle of nail polish and some cotton, so that you can lend it to any voter who might be deprived of their constitutional right to vote if the polling center runs out of acetone.
