Wishes For Labor Day
April 30, 2008
Since Christmas is 8 months away, I will have to make do with making wishes on Labor Day, or May Day as some of you may know it.
I wish for:
1. MPs in Parliament who can try to control their temper and leave the grandstanding to the Barisan Nasional MPs.
2. MPs in Parliament (especially Pakatan Rakyat) to not waste time with petty details like not raising of the hand to take an oath, etc.
3. MPs in Parliament who will refrain from calling each other names, especially not Bigfoot or Big Monkey.
4. A Dewan Speaker who will grow a pair of balls and treat all MPs equally according to the rules of Parliament.
Thank you to whoever will make my wishes come true.
To those of you taking Friday off, have a great long weekend, and to those of you working on Friday, have a fun Thursday.

Hi Kenny,
Wishing you a restful Labour Day ahead. Curious to know, were you educated in the US, because you spelt Labor without the ‘u’? And to your wishes, I also wish for the same thing - to have a more representative and responsible legislature, not a bunch of monkeys and women down-lookers (tiap tiap bulan bocor) in there. We now have a pair of eyes in RTM, to watch over every move our MPs make.

We all wish our MPs
Get the juices going?
Yet they behave like small children
Out to have some playground fun
Educated people
They wanted to play into the gallery
Telling how good they can be
When camera zooms on them
The children come out to play
MPs should know
They aren’t there to score points
They are to make or pass legislations
Throw away the bad ones
Argue for the good…….
Not calling silly names
Parliament isn’t a rojak house
MPs should be aware of the roles
If MPs can’t hack it
They shouldn’t be there
Yet we will see
The silly antics MPs play
A.W.O.L MPs common degree
So are cabinet ministers
To me Parliament House
It has become a street café
Satu cawan kopi mari berbincang
Isu-isu harian menghadapi manusia
I guess we all wish
For something out of these MPs
Do the work they are entrusted
Let the battle begins……….
