It’s Official: Pussy Minister Backs Ahmad Ismail
September 7, 2008
Ahmad Ismail refusal to be taken down by anyone is pretty impressive. Like a wounded animal beaten and cornered, he has come out with drawn claws and attacked all his detractors. Among those that came under the fire of Ahmad Ismail is the reporter of Sin Chew Jit Poh who reported that Ahmad had said Chinese are just squatters in this country, and therefore will never have equal rights in this country.
Ahmad is insisting that his comments were taken out of context, and the statement that Chinese were squatters was based on historical fact, because he was referring to the pre-Merdeka period. This ‘historical fact’ has been given much more credibility after our country’s Pussy Mi….I mean, PM, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi agreed with Ahmad’s explanation, and defended Ahmad Ismail.
PM: Don’t create tension among races
KEPALA BATAS: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi reminded all quarters, including the media, not to blow out of proportion or sensationalise issues to the extent of creating uneasiness or tension among the races in this country.
The Prime Minister said all parties needed to know their responsibilities to avoid doing things that could hurt racial sensitivities.
“It is important for us to control ourselves. I am saying this to the non-governmental organisations, associations, media, bloggers and SMS (short messaging service) users, that they must not create news which can arouse anger. This will not bring good to anybody,” he told reporters Saturday after chairing the Penang Umno Liaison Committee meeting, here. (Klaw: Apparently, when he refers to ‘all parties’, he left out politicians. Very sneaky, Abdullah. Very sneaky.)
Abdullah was referring to the alleged racist statement made by Bukit Bendera Umno division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail at a ceramah (talk) during the recent Permatang Pauh by-election.
He said Ahmad had explained that he had made a statement based on historical facts and that it was not a racist statement as reported by a local newspaper.
“He (Ahmad) regrets that it has come to this and is upset that what he had said were historical facts, but were misinterpreted by the particular newspaper while the other newspapers did not do so.”
Abdullah, who is also Umno president, said of late the raising of racial issues had caused uneasiness to the various races in the country.
“People should not be raising issues that touch on racial sensitivities like religion and the social contract that can cause anger and disquiet. Unfortunately, this has happened.
“There are those who feel that their rights and sensitivities are not being considered, ignored or sidelined,” he said. - Bernama
So was Ahmad Ismail misquoted, and comments taken out of context? Two other reporters have came out and defended the Sin Chew reporter, because they had heard the same thing in the ceramah. The reporters agreed that he said it.
So what do other people think about Ahmad Ismail? I leave you with our good friend, Nazri Aziz’s viewpoint:
“There is no harm in saying sorry. Even if anyone from the other communities (Chinese or Indians) had in the past gone overboard, two wrongs do not make one right,” he said Saturday when referring to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s statement in his blog www.chedet.com titled Pohon Maaf and Pohon Maaf (2) over the last two days.
Nazri, however, agreed with Dr Mahathir that Datuk Ahmad Ismail must be responsible for the racial remarks he made in public when canvassing votes during the Permatang Pauh by-election and should face the Umno disciplinary board if he refused to do so.
“It is sad that he had dragged the whole Penang Umno into his own personal problem.
“Ahmad is not a history teacher and yet he says in the country’s history the non-Malays were squatters?” he questioned, adding that he would be bringing up the matter with the Umno Supreme Council.
Wow. Funny how Nazri Aziz sounds more like Prime Minister material than Dollah. Sometimes, I wonder if I can take another 2 years of weak leadership under Abdullah.

My sense is telling me there’s another flip-flop.
The flip:
Deputy Prime Minister publicly apologized for the racial remarks of Ahmad “Penumpang” Ismail.
The flop:
Prime minister and several UMNO chiefs back Ahmad “Penumpang” Ismail.
If you want to apologize, that means you admit that you’re wrong.
If you want to back certain people, that means you think they’re right.
51 years into governing yet they cannot understand the simplest thing.
Or may be this is just one of Dollah’s plan to prevent Najib to take over as prime minister? By branding him as weak apologizing leader? Wow, Dollah is not as dumb as he look.

Has Ahmad Ismail got free?
Taping on his writ it seems like it
The sleeping beauty yawned blinked his eyes
Listening to Ahmad reasoning
And he says ‘It is alright, mama, it is alright!’
History telling us
Every race here is immigrant
Why so exceptional about Malay?
The race Malay came from Palembang, Indonesia
So what this Ahmad yapping about?
Telling history on his narrow minded view
Hitting others as squatters Malay isn’t?
What history is he narrating about?
The Chinese were here before Parameswara set foot in Malacca
Over 900 years ago a Chinese tomb stone was found in Kelantan(2000)
He should be man enough to apologize
He is too a ‘pendatang’ from Indonesia
All these racial slurs make no end positive
We should think Malaysians
We are ‘Anak Bangsa Malaysia’
Small time politician acting
The president can’t seem to control his people
Creating problems and getting free
It will be its downfall……….
The walls have cracked
It is a matter of time
When it will finally collapse
The floods in its soul
Gasping for air it won’t find soon
The epitaph someone had written
RIP The Racist party

Hey man, the gates of Hell closed after the end of the Seventh month and I got locked out, so I figured I’d haunt UMNO-BN again. =)
I think this pusbag Ahmad Ismail is angling for a position in UMNO Youth or UMNO Supreme Council come party elections, hence his rabid antics. But Malaysia’s a different kettle of fish now, post-March 8th.
If I were Anwar, I’d extend an open invitation to Gerakan to join Pakatan, and kick off the domino effect for 916.

K.Law, thought I would share this joke with you.
Queen Elizabeth, George Bush and Badawi have all died and gone to Hell. When they first arrive, they get a chance to make one phone call and will be charged a long distance rate accordingly.
Queen Elizabeth makes her call and sees that the British are in mourning but otherwise fine. She pays the call charge of $5 million pounds. Bush then calls up the White House to ask how they’re coping, he hears the GOP is doing well and that McCain might be joining him soon. He too pays his fee of USD$2 million.
Badawi then gets on the phone to speak to his son-in-law. They exchange quick anecdotes and updates and then the conversation ends. The Devil then tells Badawi that he owes RM1 ringgit. Badawi is shocked and asks why the call charges are so low. The Devil tells him that he was charged a local call rate because it was a call from one hell to another.
